Bowman-and-Hemodynamics-Oct-2015_Page_1

The Dr JM Bowman Symposium on Neonatal Research is held annually by the Section of Neonatology at the University of Manitoba, started in memory of Winnipeg neonatologist and Rh disease pioneer Dr Jack Bowman. Thurs Oct 29th, 2015 will be the Bowman Symposium’s landmark 10th year – it’s a full day of advances in newborn research, featuring stellar international speakers. And on Fri Oct 30th and Sat Oct 31st, a 2-day seminar on Neonatal Hemodynamics: “The Reasons the Heart Pumps Blood”.

As this is a significant milestone (10 years of symposia) we have put together a world class line up of speakers and topics covering a tremendous spectrum of interests in Neonatology.  The two day seminar that follows the research day is meant to enlighten the learner through both teaching and hands on experience in the emerging field of Neonatal Hemodynamics.  We are excited to put on this event and sincerely hope that you will join us to see first hand the quality of presentations and workshops that will be here.  It will also be a wonderful opportunity to network with like minded individuals interested in Neonatal research.
